Social Care Costs – Care Home Fees

Nursing care will be provided free in all circumstances.

Non-nursing care will be provided free in the following circumstances;

1. After the person being cared for has contributed a certain amount.
2. If the person being cared for has temporarily lent their owner occupied home to their local authority for short term rent to persons on the council house waiting list. Appropriate vetting and monitoring measures will be in place to ensure the property remains viable as an asset for the person being cared for.
