Under Occupancy Council Tax

Local Authorities will be allowed to raise into 1 or 2 higher council tax bands those properties in their area which are deemed to be under occupied, for example a single person residing in a property that has 4 or more bedrooms. Council Tax discounts can also be provided for owners who move into properties which they do not under occupy, for a set period of time, e.g. 2 years.
